You would have to have strong will-power to keep away from this sea, Frank. But I think it has been pretty rough up your way?
Frank L Croston.: Not as bad as some places,Elisabeth, though if you had tried to walk along the sea wall during high tide, you wouldn't have drowned, you would have been stoned to death! There were more stones/pebbles on the walkway than I have ever seen before! All hurled up there by the waves,

Such great skies!
Frank L Croston.: The best I have seen in a while,Chantal.
A beautiful range of colours, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Martin,in the space of five minutes,it went from a dull scene,to this,I was so glad I had waited.

Looking at the sea during storms would be the best time to look at the sea, I would think. Awesome shot! Told you the other day you had a good eye and maybe two. Which was this one??
Frank L Croston.: This was the right eye,Mary, the less bloodshot one. smile I was tempted to go down during the storm, but a warm house, and a lazy body stopped me,I suspect, looking out the window, that I'll get other chances. Thanks for the compliments, they are much appreciated.

I'm surprised you weren't swept out to sea and hurled against the rocks. I hope you were wearing a hard hat, high viz west, life jacket and secured by rope to your own personal air sea rescue 'chopper. Great colours, especially on the sands.
Frank L Croston.: Whilst understanding the need not to be foolhardy,in the weather we have been having, some of the warnings we have been given, have been utterly ridiculous. Talk about the 'nanny' state! I did actually read a police warning to not even look,at the sea!
Great, Frank
Frank L Croston.: Thank you,Juan Carlos,it was great,to be there. smile
Someone has vanished in the westcountry I believe when the went off to take pictures of the storms at the coast....
Frank L Croston.: So I believe,Bill, which is very sad. Don't worry,I was taking no risks.I just thought some of the warnings were a bit o.t.t.
THis is a fantastic lanscape of an image Frank... beautifully captured
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much,Aderonke.
Well I'm glad you opened your eye to take this Frank, despite the warnings.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Brian, this was rather after the event.
Loving the colours ....beautiful
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Shane,it was a good sunset.
I really like the reflections in the little tidal pools...
Frank L Croston.: Thank you,Larry, yes they were a bonus. smile

The rain is lashing down outside our window so I will just have to hold your photo up and use my imagination.
Frank L Croston.: That's funny,I'm doing exactly the same thing...smile
Splendid Frank! I bet you enjoyed being there...
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Richard,I did indeed.
