A very Central Australia sort of red, Frank...fine shot of Nellie.
Frank L Croston.: i suppose it is,ray,thanks.
Elizabeth looks like she was just taking a walk along a sidewalk Frank... great shot... you have to be in shape to keep up with her....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: That's how it seemed,Peter,I do my best...smile
I love this shot - it belies the cliff we were navigating! The color of the sandstone, with the water stain running across it is really wonderful, isn't it!!
Frank L Croston.: It was a great place,Ellie, apart from your cold....:-(

I see you are aiming to put her on a pedestal Frank.
Frank L Croston.: She gets on them herself,Richard, doesn't need any help.

It would be a fearful place in a rain storm so thank goodness it doesn't rain there often. Very nicely composed shot.
Frank L Croston.: I would imagine it would be,Mary,it could be quite a sight to see though.Thanks.

I can feel the heat from those rocks from here. When she came to the UK, she seemed to be in a jacket for a lot of the time... smile
Frank L Croston.: It was warm,Alan, when she was here, she had to borrow my daughters winter coat.
She is a very plucky lady, I wouldn't have fancied walking across there, but then I presume where she went you followed so you must be a brave gent also.
Frank L Croston.: I just do as I'm told,Brian, the consequences can be worse...smile
Could be a corner of a huge stadium, you seem to know where the best seats are smile
Frank L Croston.: It is like a huge amphitheatre ,John,we had the best seats ok.

I am surprised you let her walk along that by herself, Frank - sh might have fallen off!
Frank L Croston.: What about her leaving me alone!? smile
Elizabeth looks like a lady who knows where she's going and isn't afraid of anything. Marvellous looking terrain
Frank L Croston.: She is pretty fearless, the terrain is great.
Always safer to have a scout out front !
Frank L Croston.: That's what I thought,Martin....smile

Beautiful composition of the different layers in this canyon. Today I can really feel the red rocks - my finger might be red and dusty - and the dry heat. Wonderful to see the plants growing out of this dry area, but I also read about the dangerous rain storms there. Nice to see Elizabeth heading fearlessly you.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Philine, yes, you would not want to get caught out in a rainstorm, though there wasn't much danger of that when we were there!
Elizabeth is very brave, Frank. I don't think I'd have been able to walk there it looks a long way down.
Frank L Croston.: She is,for having anything to do with me,for one! It would have been a long bumpy slide, with cacti at the bottom. smile
That woman is very handy for giving a bit of scale to the pictures Frank.
Frank L Croston.: She is a handy size,Bill. smile

I take it that Fay wasn't in when you called Frank.
Frank L Croston.: That's right,Chad,she'd gone afay...
Really shows off the balcony colour. > She's fearless right?
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Jacquelyn,right..knows none! smile
I like how Elizabeth's shadow seems to be following her along the ledge trying to keep up with her steady pace. Great shot of your very brave lady, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Beverley, she actually has two shadows...smile
I like this... hope you were not thinking of falling off here
Frank L Croston.: I was only thinking of stopping on,I can assure you. smile
