This is a magnificent close-up Frank....it is so detailed that i can feel the wind whistling through her feathers....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: Thank-you Peter, yes, it was a cold wind !
Terrific Frank! My in-laws are here for the weekend, and are both every accomplished painters. Rosemary wonders if you might give her permission to paint this image? It would not be for sale, it would stay in her own collection. What say you fotografo sorprendente?
Frank L Croston.: Wow Elizabeth, you speak Spanish as well ! I would be flattered if Rosemary ( I hope I'm not being presumptuous calling her by her first name ?) Painted this, on one condition, that you send me a pic' of it on completion. Thanks for the compliments my friend, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, Frank.

Frank, this soft and warm light on her delicate feathers creates such a cozy feel. Just perfect for a Sunday morning. Thank you for this feeling and may you have a lovely comfy day today!
Frank L Croston.: Thank-you Iris, i feel warmer already after reading your words.
Shows the virtue of getting right in there, Frank - another excellent image. I can imagine this one facing yesterday's on a wall somewhere.
Frank L Croston.: Thank-you Tom, yes, they would make a good pair.
You got some gorgeous light here for this lovely shot.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Mary , it was a low winter sun, on a freezing day a couple of winters ago, I think the Geese were warmer than me!
Wonderful close-up Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thank-you Brian, I don't think any of them wanted to move, it was so cold that day, and thats why they put up with me getting up close.
Were you really awake at 4:13am? Crazy! Actually, I'm trying to learn Italian as I'll be going in November! Not very good yet though! I can't wait to tell Rosemary that you will allow her to paint this (when she awakens from her nap!), she'll be thrilled! And of course we'll send you a photo of it once it's done! Happy Fathers' Day!
