photoblog image The Gate .

The Gate .

But suffer me to pace

round the forbidden place,

lingering a minute,

like outcast spirits who wait,

and see through heavens gate

angels within it.

Nice image Frank! I like the way you processed this one- it looks very old and antique'y! The poem is great!
Frank L Croston.: Well thank-you Elizabeth, yes.. much like myself.
What a great find Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thank-you Brian, it was on the towpath of the Lancaster canal, it must have had a use at some time.
This is quite the find Frank....the gate has been covered with the bushes around and through it....you have so many textures to this photo....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Peter, your very kind.

Just like those branches there are a lot of stories entwined around this gate. It has so much to tell if we pause for a moment and feel it.
Frank L Croston.: Thank-you Iris, as we have said before, if we would only take the time.
