Doing a walk such as this in winter is a whole different ballgame than doing it in the summer for example. It has the benefit of fewer people, I should think, though.
Frank L Croston.: Not many there that day Alan, unlike in summer when from across the valley I've seen them queuing up....

I suppose if you're wearing the right gear, which I'm sure you were, this is a pleasing thing to do
Frank L Croston.: Correct Chris, wish I'd done it more often.
Toujours un très joli lieu
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, thanks Claudine.
Not the place for an afternoon stroll!
Frank L Croston.: Oh I don't know Bill, it was quiet smile

It is so easy to get lost once fog descends Frank. I know I have done that on the Brecon Beacons.
Frank L Croston.: Indeed it is Andrew, I climbed the wrong mountain one time...Duh smile
A stunning photograph, Frank. The texture and colour are just right!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Care, I'm pleased you think so.
Another very fine shot Frank. I can't undersatnd why anyone would walk across that edge at any time, let alone in the weather you seemed to be having that day.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Brian, glad you like it. Well, I understand , personally, I wish I'd done it more often smile
