What fabulius eye candy.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Ray, never thought of it as that. smile
i like the long rudder arm on LA Girl, Frank (makes for easier steering i guess).
Frank L Croston.: I suppose, Ayush...I'm no sailor. smile
J'aime les photos de bateaux. Les pontons ont l'air d'être très vieux.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Martine, some of them are in a bad state of repair, which makes them more interesting of course smile
I really love your composition!! Beautiful photo! Maybe the owner is from LA! smile
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Elizabeth, you never know...

I like the various elements of white scattered around the image Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Andrew. I hadn't noticed that.

Some great reflections Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Bill, not often I'm there when its high tide so I was pleased to get them.
I lkke all the reflections and presumably that is the edge of lakeland in the background.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Brian, no, this is looking East, those are the Bleasedale fells.

Lovely reflections in the calm water.
Frank L Croston.: For some reason the tide is nearly always out when I visit here, but this time it came in during my visit. Thanks Anne.
Nicely done with the tight crop making you look at everything.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you Mary.

Love all the wooden jetties. I wonder if there is a connection with Los Angeles for the owner of "LA Girl"?
Frank L Croston.: Me too, I really like the ramshackleness of this area, old boats, jetties collapsing, there are a few people who live on boats further down the river too. Its quite a place, back in the day it was a port for Poulton le Fylde. Some way across the river is another place like this, in the 19th century immigrants would sail to America from there.
LA Girl must be a long way from home.
Frank L Croston.: I did wonder if there was a chance of a lift Tom...smile
