I've seen examples of this sort of thing on the Jurassic Coast. Some of these things can be very expertly balanced. Real outdoor art

This can be good fun, Frank, and seems a popular behaviour in Thailand.

These sandstone inukshuks have become synonymous with beaches in this area. I love the starkness of this shot showing the great detail.
