Heading back to Durango

In a torrential rainstorm, you can see it in the steam and smoke.

Despite the challenges, Frank, you have a stunning outcome.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Ray, things I do...smile
It certainly was pouring that day, Frank! But we had fun anyway - so did Alan, who was well dressed for the weather!
I can't believe you got such a great shot out the window - that head of steam is fantastic!
Frank L Croston.: Yes we did, neither can I, but I paid for it later...smile

Bob Dylan comes to mind:

Hot chilli peppers in the blistering sun
Dust on my face and my cape
Me and Magdalena on the run
I think this time we shall escape.

Fine image Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Mike, off one of my favourite 'Bob' albums. I never thought listening to that in the past that I would visit Durango...And have romance!
I like the poof of smoke here best in the whole shot.
Frank L Croston.: It was an impressive head of steam it got up, mix it with the rain and you got some impressive results, Mary.
Worth sticking your head out and getting wet for Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Which is what I Did, Brian, also put my back out for a day or so...:-(
Times past, eh? Great shot, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: It felt like it, Tom...smile A great experience, a shame the weather was so bad but it added in other ways.
the rain keeps the smoke low to the top of the locomotive Frank... this is a good composition of the train on the curve with the mountains in the background.....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Peter, I suffered to get this shot...Fortunately I had my personal nurse with me to ease the pain...smile
