Slotting in...

This is Buckskin gulch slot canyon, one of the longest in the world, about 15 miles in length, an amazing place, the water, during flash floods, can rise to 20ft high, we saw debris left at that height during our hike through here, we didn't go all the way, but covered a few miles, some of it only a few feet wide, partly blocked by boulders and logs in places which somehow you have to get over, or under....

The diminutive figure you see, is my Elizabeth, I would have seen none of this without her, and uncountable other wonderful sights and experiences, so if you have enjoyed any of my photo's of America, she is the one to thank for bringing me here, she is just the best, thanks love. XOX.

A fine tribute, Frank. Without Elizabeth in the shot, the scale of this would very different; like rocks on a beach maybe.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Alan, yes it would...It is difficult to convey the beauty and size of these places without a human presence, Ell' comes in handy...smile
