This one eats shadows!
Frank L Croston.: Thats all there is,Ray! smile
Fantastic use of lighting and b&w. The horses shadow really has an interesting effect.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much, Hollie, I'm annoyed with myself for not getting all the shadow, don't know why I didn't.
A fine photo... I am impressed by the quality of the tones...
Frank L Croston.: Thank you,Larry, tone mapped in Photomatix.
You said you didn't get anything good from that herd!!! This is so beautiful!!
Frank L Croston.: Well I didn't think I did, but thought this was ok, stop shouting at me...:-(

Nicely composed Frank: love the shadow
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Chris, looking at it again, shame I didn't get all of the shadow.
terrific treatment. wonder what the horse could find worth eating in that spot of this landscape
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ayush, I don't know, but they seemed to find plenty of it.
Spot on Dude.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, sir.
awesome B&W
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Chantal.

I would have liked the shadow to be included, but then (maybe) you had to sacrifice the angle. Great stuff as it is.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Louis,I don't know why I didn't get all the shadow, I'll look at my other shots, could be I couldn't get far enough back.
It sure beats living in the middle of the city, I bet. "Oh give me a home where the buffalo roame...." Yes, I know this is a horse, but I can just imagine it there, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: No good for Buffalo here, Ginnie! Nothing to eat! It is a great place though.
Nice....
Frank L Croston.: Thank you.
Great image Mike..love the shadow here... love everything!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, glad you like it.
Another great shot Frank, I like the B.& W. conversion.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Brian, tonemapped in Photomatix.

Just oblivious to its surroundings, trying to eat what ever it can find. You know, Frank, I think this would be even stronger with all the horse's shadow in the shot.
Frank L Croston.: Quite right,Alan,I don't know why it isn't...I'm sure I had some reason for not including it all,but for the life of me I can't think what it was,I'm annoyed about it. smile
Good choice of black and white, Frank - excellent image.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Tom,glad you think so.
Nice shot and the song fits well
Frank L Croston.: Thank you,John, bit obvious, but a good song never the less.

I really like the monochrome treatment - and what a back drop to the picture
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Anne,it was someplace. smile No wonder John Ford spent so long there. smile
I like the picture but the record is not one of my favourites
Frank L Croston.: Well it's optional,Bill,thanks.
Terrific image with these tones Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much,Richard.
Nice composition > especially with only part of the horse shadow showing.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Jacquelyn, you are the only one to mention it that way, everyone else wondered why I cut it off, me included! smile
