Beautifully presented, Frank.
Once again you make masterful use of a small amount of light...

This is a winner, so much to enjoy Frank.
It bolts right up there quite differently than the surrounding hills.
Great shot, those clouds are the finishing touch.

I first saw Shiprock on a drive from Kayenta, AZ, to Durango, CO but did not then get a chance to visit to visit the rock on because of time pressures. It looked fascinating just rising up out of the desert

I did make the point on another trip of staying in Farmington just so I could see the rock at sunset; that was the time I had my first encounter with a rattlesnake. It was pleased to see me as it was wagging its tail.
There is a Ship Rock in Utah, also. Fine composition.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much Larry.
