This is wonderful Frank, a real gift for you to discover
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Chris, it was great to see.
Desert Ice sounds like something Walls would come up with Frank, maybe that sold at the seaside which then gets sand blown over it.
Frank L Croston.: Mmmm, tasty...Without the sand, Andrew smile
You must have really enjoyed experiencing this. You got some great shots (like this one) too.
Frank L Croston.: We both did, Mary...Thank you.

I just can't imagine how startling this must have been, Frank. The subject seems just right for your style, too
Frank L Croston.: Don't know about startling, Elisabeth, it was certainly fun to photograph...smile Thanks.

No I would see this as a basis for a raeher nice basis for a Christmas Card. You could flog 'em in Flagstaff but you would probably have to put on "Happy Holidays".
Frank L Croston.: If it would sell more ( or any...) I could live with that, Alan. smile

Wow this is so amazing.
Great capture.
Right now our north part of the Netherlands is covered by black ice and people skating in/on the streets.... at least one inch of ice...... because of the ice rain.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Astrid, well Elizabeth has a foot of snow...We just have water....
WOW. This is a Likey for me, Frank!!!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much, Ginnie...smile
Wonderful phenomenon and wonderful take!
Frank L Croston.: It was, Tom...Thank you.
This is a bit stunning Frank
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Bill, glad you like it.
I thought this might have been the same time Eliz. was waiting while you drove through 'weather'.
Frank L Croston.: No...This was on our way home ( only nine hours ) after thanksgiving, Mary.
Your day trip to Alaska wasn't waste then Frank while Ellie slaved over a hot stove.
Frank L Croston.: Oh no, good day out...Ellie ? Stove? unlikely Bud...smile
