How I pictured things when I was a very young thing and everything was rosy - this is gorgeous
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Elisabeth, that sounds a little sad, sad
A very fine shot Frank, I like the painterly effect. I went to Buttermere in 1960 and haven't been back since, but will be returning in May next year, I'm looking forward to it.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Brian,I hope you have a wonderful time in this lovely place,I intend to revisit soon.
Looks like a squeaky clean animation.

I've looked back at your image that you mentioned to Richard T. I think there's a third image to be had; some of the paintery bits from this but with the sky on the other.

It's nice to see a different view of the usual (but still enjoyable) "Kodak Pines" view. Were you on private land for this?
Do I need a bodyguard on Friday then.I will buy painting by numbers for Xmas.
picture postcard-perfect! the blue hue works well..
Frank L Croston.: Thanks,Sesan, I'm glad you like it.
I've tried several attempts at this view, Frank. This is a superb treatment.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much,Graeme,I was lucky with that shaft of light,a few moments later, gone! The pictures I took without it,aren't the same.Though this treatment has had a mixed reception, which I don't mind, better than indifference, I think. smile
