photoblog image Twin creeks.

Twin creeks.

Please, don't waste time trying to find this place, it exists only in my Mac.

Two shots ,that I took at Spring tide, at Skipool, one hour later, the water

was approx' 3 metres lower.

All this weeks shots were taken at Skipool, on the river Wyre, on a weekend

of High tides, except for this one one, they are all genuine. :)

I don't quite understand (your explanation) Frank, but v effective nonetheless! smile
Frank L Croston.: You're not the first, to not know what I'm talking about Fred, what I was trying to say was, it's two separate shots merged, which, fortunately, made one good one, there is only one creek, and no island, as shown, glad you think it worked anyway. smile
brilliant dynamic range in this image. you have made an otherwise dreary day pop out
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Ayush, well, that's all down to Photomatix, not so much me! smile
What a wonderful creation Frank! And it is pretty cool how the docks disappear into the water with the tide this high!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Ellie,as I said, it drops about 3 metres.

Frank L Croston.: Thanks very much Ginnie, please don't do that, you'll see the mistakes! smile
Great work Frank, I wouldn't have known if you hadn't owned up to it being a montage.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks Brian, appreciate that, well, I didn't want people wandering about looking for it, I would have felt very guilty. smile
