Cripes!

Do they get used?
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, Ray! I came across them before they had been dispersed , since then they have appeared all over the place.
> Good orange lines.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Jacquelyn.
I love the perspective on this! Great find, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, elizabeth, quite a surprise!

Good GRIEF - there are THOUSANDS of 'em!
Frank L Croston.: Not far off, Chris, I came across them near the bottle bank before they had been dispersed over the Uni' and the town.
There's certainly a good few of them, did you and Elizabeth hire a couple out?
Frank L Croston.: No, we have our own, Brian.
Great pattern of color...
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Larry.
Are these some sort of environmental electric bikes for people who aren't as fit as Alan Rolfe?
Frank L Croston.: Just normal bikes for hire, Bill...No one is as fit as Alan Rolfe!

Nice perspective!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Bonnie, last one of them like this I suspect, they are all over town now!
similar to views I have seen in Japan, Korea and in Denmark where so many people use bicycles to travel in their cities and towns
Frank L Croston.: I came across these just before they dispersed them throughout Flagstaff, its a six month trial, the fun now is finding them in all kinds of odd places. smile
Frank

Copenhagen was the first city where I saw bicycles for rent (actually free) all around the main part of the city. You used coins to release the bikes

When you returned them to any rack you got your coin back.

Because I didn't use a lock my rental bikes were taken a couple times in Copenhagen,

I learned to ALWAYS use a chain lock,
even in the supposed most honest city in Europe.
