Phoenix sunset

A spectacular, and bumpy return due to a large storm west of the city,  excited to be back and reunited With Elizabeth.

As  you can see... we're definitely in Phoenix!

i like the warm and cool tones seen almost side by side. i think in person, this would have been an even more striking scene, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: It was spectacular, Ayush! What a sight to see.

By the time
I get to Phoenix
She'll be...

A brilliant capture, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: And she was....smile Thanks, Ray, I'm amazed I got anything! We were really getting bumped around.

Camelback Mountain? I like the lights of the cars disappearing off in to the distance. I guess some turbulence with the thermals? Ummm.. are you allowed to fro nearly 80mph? Even Portland was up to 102 deg when I got here.

How was Chicago?
Frank L Croston.: It could have been Camelback, it was quite a landing, we had to go around again, I'm used to bumpy approaches at Phoenix, as you say, due to the thermals , but this was exceptional!
I don't remember where we were doing 80...Elizabeth was driving, it must have been on the freeway. I didn't see much of Chicago, I had to move quick due to us arriving late, O Hare is very efficient though, a shame I couldn't look around. I hope your trip is going well, Alan.
"Bumpy" isn't fun, Frank, but you sure did get a spectacular shot. I'm afraid 107F, however, is way too hot for me. I wonder how you can handle it, coming from the UK (with cooler temps).
Frank L Croston.: I don't mind bumpy, Ginnie...smile I seem to manage ok, but I wouldn't like to live in it.
Très jolies couleurs.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Martine.

That top picture is a great one and the Nissan is quite the reminder of where you are.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Louis, yes indeed.

This is superb Frank. I like the topography - what there is of it, and the General scene below. Is the lower picture taken in the cockpit?
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Andrew, yes, of Elizabeth's Nissan smile

Ooo that is HOT - hope you are acclimatising quickly! It's really turning autumnal here.
Frank L Croston.: Yes it is, the novelty soon wears off...Its a nice 72 in Flag'.
I have flown into Phoenix myself - left snow and arrived in sunshine.
Frank L Croston.: A place where they report puddles on the news....
107 is too hot and 24.7 is too thirsty
Frank L Croston.: Indeed...
