Excellent Frank! You've done this place great justice - wonderful sky!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elizabeth. Its usually the sky that makes these shots.

A fabulous landscape Frank, quite unlike anything we have here..
Frank L Croston.: I never tire of it, Chris, I grew up seeing it on t.v. and in films and books. To see it all for real is so great.
That road looks like a line painted on a football pitch Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Amazing isn't it, Andrew.

similar to Elizabeth's photo today- very impressive!
Frank L Croston.: We are in unintentional sync, Philine, and she was sat next to me...smile
The road allows for quite an impact from the mesas.
Frank L Croston.: I noticed this (almost), identical photo on a Ry Cooder album yesterday. Its so great to see these views for real.
As I said to Elizabeth yesterday, one must have to keep stopping so the driver can enjoy these wonderful outcrops as well.
Frank L Croston.: We have become very adept at taking shots from the car, with varying results, Brian. smile
It is the sheer size of everything that keeps coming through in these pictures Frank
Frank L Croston.: Its a HUGE place, Bill.

The classic shot. It was seeing something like this in one of the Sunday newspaper travels pages many years ago that made me want to go to Monument valley and see it for myself.
Frank L Croston.: It is, Alan, I had seen it so many times, it was a thrill to actually be there...smile
You are following Elizabeth's lead with the weather today, Frank
Frank L Croston.: I just do as I'm told, Tom...smile
