A bunch of hoodoos conversing with their Hoodoo Guru...
Frank L Croston.: You been on the home brew again?! smile
I felt quite small!
A great composition... and the light on the path makes it look like I'm following the yellow brick road! Serves to reason - the place was as unusual as Oz! smile
Frank L Croston.: Me too! Yep, we weren't in Kansas for sure!
As I told Elizabeth, Frank, sometimes I'm more in awe of Bryce Canyon (because of these hoodoos) than the Grand Canyon! I do like that Elizabeth gives scale to the scene, besides beauty. smile
Frank L Croston.: It is quite remarkable, Ginnie, I understand what you mean. Elizabeth adds a lot....smile

All new to me - I like this photo
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Elisabeth...Me too!
Amazing what wind and weather can create...not Elizabeth the pointy things behind her
Frank L Croston.: Glad you cleared that up, Bill....
Good to have scale in this other worldly environment Frank.
Frank L Croston.: It definitely needs it, Andrew.

From Monday's picture, I can imagine that one can get lost, when walking somewhere on the bottom parts of the canyon. It remains an amazing land feature.
Frank L Croston.: You could, Louis, it is quite remarkable.
The colour change in the path makes me wonder if this park too has had assistance in the trail maintenance.
Frank L Croston.: There are parts of this place that are that colour, Mary.
Elizabeth really gives scale to this picture doesn't she. The rock looks quite soft in substance.
Frank L Croston.: They are quite crumbly, Brian.
Strange but attractive formations.
Frank L Croston.: Very, very strange, Martin.
Love that red color... sometimes Earth looks like Mars...
Frank L Croston.: It does in Arizona!
Strange stuff, eh?
Frank L Croston.: Weird Tom.
Rather like Cappadocia!
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, Tom.
