photoblog image Bryce canyon 2

Bryce canyon 2

After yesterdays shot from above, this is down in Bryce canyon. It is a magical place, it's not huge, or majestic like Zion... It's just an amazing ( for once this word is appropriate ) place, the colours, shapes, and sheer weirdness of it is overwhelming. Also,we still had some snow left, which, so to speak, was the icing on the cake!

The weathering effect on the rocks is very noticeable and photogenic Frank
Frank L Croston.: The rock, if you can call it that, is very soft and fragile, more like a rough clay. It's certainly photogenic, Chris!
