Wonderful country...and, not a Starbucks in sight!
Frank L Croston.: Oh yes, Ray, indeed. One might have been welcome at this point! smile
I just love all those different layers of rock!! Nicely presented, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Surprised I could keep take anything at this point, Ell' ! The colours and layers in the rock were amazing.

Glad to know you still have the puff in you to do this quite gruelling thing Frank
Frank L Croston.: I surprised myself, Chris, after living the good life smile Wait 'til you see the next hike!
I like that oil coloured stain running down the steep slope Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Its water, Andrew, from snow melt on the top, then it leaks through a porous layer of rock and runs down.
What a setting for a footpath. I know your'e almost 3 years younger than me but I'd be 'cream crackered' before I'd got very far up a path that steep, you must be in good health and fitness Frank, long may it last.
Frank L Croston.: Spectacular, Brian, I surprised myself,I've been lazy of late. Thank you.
Looks like a glorious day - no winter gear.
Frank L Croston.: It was, Mary, just right.
That sounds like a serious bit of exercise Frank
Frank L Croston.: It was, Martin, but very enjoyable.
On the trail of the lonesome pine...oh no that's different mountains
Frank L Croston.: We saw lots of those, Bill.

It's some hike but if it;s anything like the manicured path up to Angel's Landing, Im wondering if it's easier (or rather.. less hard) than a climb in the Lake District? The colours are better, though!
Frank L Croston.: It was as hard as some I've done, Alan, easier than others, but not many smile
A great view...
Frank L Croston.: There were great views everywhere we looked, Larry, when I'd wiped the sweat away....smile
That looks like quite an incline - no doubt there were numerous pauses to take in the views smile
Frank L Croston.: It was, Tom, many pauses...Its why I carry a camera smile
