I have seen so many USA movies finish with a frame just like this as the credits are rolling...

Still love it!
Frank L Croston.: I know its cliched, Ray, but still so hard to resist..I just get a kick out of being able to take shots like this. Thanks. smile
excellent shot, Frank. good that there was no traffic around.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Ayush, thats what makes it so good, that there is no traffic!
This worked so well - who cares if it's cliche... it's still so cool!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ell', great to be able to take it. Thanks for the trip. X

Hah!! One the classic shots. It was seeing the one showing Monument Valley many many years ago that pique my interest in the area and made me want t see it for myself.

When you get back to the UK, try doing the same on the A591 coming into Windermere smile
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Alan, I don't think I'll try that....smile

Fabulous shot....what a view. (No cat eyes to be seen for miles)
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Astrid, no, they could do with them on some roads...
I'm a sucker for this sort of image Frank. Pit there was not a cat's eye in the road.
Frank L Croston.: Me too, Andrew, there was a skunk and some Deer....smile
I'm bucking my seat belt. Good start off.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Mary, I'll try not to disappoint, I think Elizabeth is posting pics of our trip also.
I'm almost speechless, the road itself is terrific and just look at that background, amazing.
Frank L Croston.: This is why driving can still be a pleasure here, Brian, thanks.

I am hoping you passed some old diners on the way and you stopped and took some pics.
Frank L Croston.: They are very rare, Michael, its all McDonalds and Burger kings on the road.
Terrific shot...
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Larry.
