If I was the Ford Marketing Manager then I would be thrusting a contract in your face about now, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Very flattering, Ray, thanks...I'm sticking out for Subaru...smile

It sums up the America of conspicuous consumption very nicely
Frank L Croston.: When you see the cars on the road today, it is very different.

It immediately set the period of the American motor industry. I like your point of view here/

I watched a documentary about Ford in Dagenham recently; at one time, the plant employed 71000 people and at at another time 1 day in 4 was lost in industrial action.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Alan, those were strange times.
Wonderful to look at and probably dreadful to drive
Frank L Croston.: I would love to have a go in one of these beasts, Bill, and find out! As you say, they do look wonderful.
From this viewpoint it looks almost as wide as the lane on one side of the road!
Frank L Croston.: Well it pretty much would be, Brian. smile
Great POV here with gorgeous clouds and a wigwam as background interest.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Mary, it was a great place, 'the wigwam motel' in Holbrook, Arizona.
A classic... there's a Lincoln Continental from the same area at my repair shop...
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, Larry, I really like to see these old classics, and of course the climate here in Arizona suits them.
Hienz does it better with tin.
Frank L Croston.: Sounds better than beans...smile
