The border adds to the desaturated look...
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Larry...It was a desaturated kind of day. smile

I really love your treatment of old, derelict "found" objects like this, Frank...somehow you seem to give this car dignity!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ray, that's very nice of you. When I saw this I did feel rather sorry for it, all alone at the end of the track, so I'm pleased you think I gave it some dignity, it was probably pretty good in its day.

Fin du train aussi, il ne risque pas de servir.
Frank L Croston.: So it seems, Martine.

Now I'm assuming that this is someone's home judging by the chimney (or perhaps it travelled like that?). I can imagine that this will be provide good target practice for you gun totin' Westerners.
Frank L Croston.: I wonder if its in use by someone from the Verde canyon railroad, as its close to their car park, Alan.

Don't you wonder. I love your point of view. Can you imagine living here and make this place into heaven on earth??
Frank L Croston.: You would have lots of space around you, Astrid. Thanks.
No shine left at all on the poor thing. It would be a real hang out spot for teens if allowed.
Frank L Croston.: It may be in use for something, Mary, its close to the car park of the Verde canyon railroad.
It looks as though it no longer has any wheels so the only way to move it would be to demolish it I guess, how sad.
Frank L Croston.: I'm not sure that it isn't in use for something, Brian, it is close to the car park of the place I featured on Monday.

No longer in use but still extremely photogenic. A lovely presentation Frank.
Frank L Croston.: I wish I had taken a closer look now, maybe one day, thank you, Anne.

I agree with Ray on this one. I love these types of shots, really brings out the beauty in things long forgotten.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, its great to find this kind of thing.
You could buy it and restore it as a roadside cafe Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Wouldn't that be something!
You could turn it into a diner....Frank 'n' Ellies
Frank L Croston.: I could introduce bacon sarnies ! Mushy peas! Fruit cake! proper chips! Stuff they've never heard of, mugs of tea! smile
This is a really wonderful depiction, Frank! Nice work!
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Elizabeth, I'm glad you like it, it was a good find.
