I love this. It looks very surreal.nThe sky offsets the train in a very powerful way.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you very much, Beth, I'm pleased you like it so much.
This is terrific!! I love how you were able to capture both trains- and the Eagle on the first! Beth is right - the sky is powerful!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Elizabeth, and thanks for taking me there. smile

Your angle gives an idea of the power here, Frank. Were they decorated thus in their heyday?
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Elisabeth, I don't really know, but wouldn't imagine so.
OMG. FABULOUS, Frank. I especially like the eagle on 1510.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ginnie, the Eagle does look good. Not long after seeing this I saw a real one!

I love the colour scheme and the graphics. The locos are icon of a particular age of American railroads. I had to Google for the location and now I can recall signs for Verde Canyon when I was driving towards Sedona.
Frank L Croston.: They do have some style, thats right, Alan, not far from Sedona.

Strewth - this thing looks like something no sane person or cow would argue with!
Frank L Croston.: I don't think leaves on the line would bother it, Chris smile
J'adore .......quelle bonne idée ..
On est sur la même longueur avec nos fresques ..
Frank L Croston.: Good isn't it? So I see!

They look imposing from down here. The second loco stopped in time, before derailing.
Frank L Croston.: All parked up for the winter I think, Louis.
This train must be called The Eagle.
Frank L Croston.: A good chance I think, Mary.
What a difference to similar places over here, they look very powerful.
Frank L Croston.: Quite a difference, Brian, I would think they are.
Great tweaking, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Tom...Not a lot...
What magnificent beasts of burden set against that leaden sky
Frank L Croston.: Not a big fan of diesels normally, Martin, but found some nice ones for this weeks pic's.
Wow!! Like this a lot.
Frank L Croston.: Thank you, Dave, I enjoyed coming across them and being able to get some shots.
