That's some scary ice.
Frank L Croston.: Fortunately no one goes down here, Hollie.
Wow! Looks like the icicles on the right followed the branches... great shot...
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, that's my theory, water bouncing of the branches, but to get that long...Amazing.
That is truly weird Frank
Frank L Croston.: Isn't it, Bill, I drove past them every morning, I was pleased to capture them.

Well I've never seen anything like this before. I can only think that there was water dropping down and very strong fan blowing them horizontally. It's an incredible sight.
Frank L Croston.: No fans there, Alan, and no wind...

They are quite scary aren't they. I guess once they start in a direction the flow of water gradually adds to their extended curve.
Frank L Croston.: They are, Mike...That was my theory.
I can only imagine that there must have been a strong wind blowing Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Nope, no wind of late, Andrew...It's a puzzle.
Defying the laws of gravity
Frank L Croston.: Seems to, martin.
These were formed by a strong wind coming from Droitwich, if you look carefully you can just make out Bills bacon buttie in the ice.
Frank L Croston.: Now you have made me want one, oh, we have some bacon....smile
A wind tunnel blew between the buildings. Very cool effect and great to have captured.
Frank L Croston.: No wind lately, Mary...Thanks.
devil's fingernails!
Frank L Croston.: Now you are scaring me now....
How unusual, another quirk of Mother Nature.
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, Brian.
Wind gusting in a curious manner I'd think, Frank!
Frank L Croston.: Could be, 'kept we've had no wind since the snow, Tom.

Wind as artist/sculptor...wonder find, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Except we've had no wind, Ray... I was pleased to get some shots of this, as I drove past it every day.
