View from Jerome...

..Actually, the view from our balcony at 'Ghost city inn' in Jerome, Arizona. Looking across the Verde valley, with the snow covered red rocks of Sedona on the horizon.

That's beautiful, Frank! You obviously managed to get some good shots in, when the clouds would lift out of the valley!
Frank L Croston.: I got one or two, Elizabeth...It was very changeable!

Can't claim the view is spoiled by the neighbours here, Frank.
Frank L Croston.: Well, Ray, there are some bits that spoil the view, this being a mining area.

Ah, what a view! one can get romantic all over again smile
Frank L Croston.: Ha, ha, thanks, Louis.
The rays are lifting us higher and higher. Very beautiful!
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Mary, they did appear to be going up, rather than down!
Lighting like this doesn't come along very often, right place at the right time I think. That looks a bit like one of the mines you mentioned to Ray at bottom left.
Frank L Croston.: No it doesn't, Brian, there was a rainbow hovering just out of sight that I couldn't get a shot of . Yes, thats one of them, the whole town was built around the copper mining.
The trails have a ghostly appearance
Frank L Croston.: Jerome does have a ghostly reputation....
WOWSER, Frank. That's what I said when this opened. I've been to Jerome, so I know that neck of the woods.
Frank L Croston.: Thanks, Ginnie, you know what an interesting place it is then.
the sun rays look like they were flared out of the top of the tall tree just right of center Frank...
great composition....petersmile
Frank L Croston.: They do look like they were going up, Peter. Thanks.
WOW!! What a view
Frank L Croston.: Indeed, Bill, I wonder how many miles that is ?
An upward transformation of light... amazing...
Frank L Croston.: It did look good, Larry. Thanks.
